My name is Torger Myran. I am a dedicated follower of Christ pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry in Theology & Apologetics at Liberty University, where I earned a Master of Divinity in Christian Apologetics. Apologetics is one of my passions, hence the reason for creating the page. I was born and grew up in Montana. As an avid sports lover, I played basketball, baseball, football, and ran track and field. After graduating high school, I earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Montana and began a career in production management. After ten years of working in that industry, God gave me the greatest blessing of a son. I moved to Virginia, where God called me to ministry. I am faithfully serving Christ’s church at The Mount where I was ordained in July of 2023. I am a passionate father and love teaching my son about Christ. I have an expected graduation date of summer 2024 and am serving in the ministry where God calls me: Student Ministry! My personal philosophy of leadership is “We do not lead like the world, we lead like the one who saved us from it” (John 13:15, translation mine). Jesus gave humanity the ultimate example of a sacrificial servant leader. My personal philosophy of ministry is that “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain” (Psalm 127:1, NIV). All our effort and planning is ultimately futile unless God is at the center of it. The effects of a God-centered ministry are felt generationally when we listen to, obey, and pursue the will of God. Part of that calling is understanding why Christians believe what they believe. This site is dedicated to that understanding.
